efiug advances equity for women and girls through safety, advocacy, education and research. Our dedicated staff serves a diverse community that breaks through safety, educational and economic barriers so that all women have a fair chance.

Current Opportunities

Since 2005, efiug has been one of the nation’s leading voices protecting, educating and supporting women and girls. efiug has a nationwide network of more than 70,000 members and supporters across the country, as well as 47 local hubs and over 15 local partners. Since efiug’s founding, more than 15 years ago, members have examined and taken positions on the fundamental issues of the day — safety, educational, social, economic, and political. efiug’s commitment to equity and development of women is reflected in its public policy advocacy, community programs, leadership development, conventions and conferences, national partnerships, and international connections.

The efiug office is located near the Kanyange Primary School.

Health, disability, and life programs are effective the first day of the month following date of hire. Eligible employees also may establish dependent care and medical expense accounts on a pre-tax basis. efiug provides a transit subsidy and employees may purchase Smart Benefits up to established maximums on a pre-tax basis. In addition, we offer a wellness program. Schedules for many of our positions are flexible; business casual dress and a metro-accessible location add to efiug’s attractiveness as an employer.
